Footings
Stocks Fence does not set fence posts in dry concrete. We use wet-mixed concrete poured into a prepared post hole. Post holes are sized to support sideways pressure applied to your fence against your soil type.
Posts
Before delivery, we hand sort every post and remove any that fall outside our stringent criteria. We search for perfect wood grain, perfect corners, and uniform appearance across the project. Agricultural fences often mix wood and steel posts driven into the soil with a post driver.
Rails
Woven wire and wooden rails can be used together or independently to suit each area of your design. Areas with high visibilty can be made quite attractive while remaining economical for the "back forty".
Gates
Beginning January 2023, we now offer frames standard for all wooden gates. Our welded steel frames prevent sagging, period! Cattle gates, wire filled gates, and custom gates are available in a range of sizes and applications.
